Is it ok for me to be a little upset?Or a little annoyed?

I can understand your frustration, since he changed his mind on you for his birthday plans. I would let it slide though...it's his day, so he should get to do what he wants. And you shouldn't take it personally...it sounds like he does love you very much, but he can see you everyday, right? (That's probably how he looks at it.) His friends and his dad probably talked him into having a "guys night" and well, he's going along with it. Just let it go..men tend to have a harder time saying no to their buddies, and he's really hoping that you'll understand. It really doesn't mean that he doesn't want to be with you...he probably just couldn't say no to his friends. As for the frat dudes...yeah I don't blame you on that! There's no way I would spend a vacation staying in a noisy, filthy, loud frat house with all kinds of strange girls coming and going. He was probably just testing the waters by asking you...but I'm sure he would rather stay in a hotel also. Maybe he just thought he'd throw it out there because it would save money. Don't get mad at him though...unless he votes to stay at the frat house!!
