Is Pepperdine University social nightlife nonexistant?

i am debating to go to pepperdine. i am from NJ and could go there for free except room and board. i love everything about it. but is the social scene really that bad? i love to party and drink. even if i joined a frat would it be hard to find a party? thanks.
